Tinubu Others, Kill Kogi Guber Candidate- Okorocha.

My attention has been drawn to the above story which is trending on social media.

When I first read the concocted tale full of thrash and libel told by enemies of democracy, my initial decision was to ignore it but on a second thought I have decided to put the record straight.

The story which is written in poor English purported that Gov Rochas Okorocha, the Chairman of Progressive Governors Forum gave an interview where he accused Tinubu of being behind the death of Kogi state APC candidate, late Prince Abubakar Audu.

Firstly Gov Rochas Okorocha spent the better part of yesterday, Sunday 22nd November, 2015 till about 7 pm chairing a stakeholders forum of South-East Leaders and returned to Owerri same night, it is bewildering where and when he gave the interview which thrended same night on social media?

Secondly, Prince Abubakar Audu is not yet a member of APC Governors Forum and Gov Okorocha could not have granted the interview on that score.

The family of Prince Abubakar Audu has not blamed anyone for the death of their son neither is Gov Okorocha a member of the Audu family.

The story was written as an interview Governor Okorocha granted yet no medium was mentioned. Can one grant interview to thin air?

The purported interview is a wicked machination of people who are envious of the towering profile of Gov Rochas Okorocha and aim at bringing him at loggerheads with leaders of the Party especially Sen Bola Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State and a man Gov Okorocha holds in very high esteem.

It is also remarkable that the story has no source but emanated from the Facebook wall of a PDP apologist who must have been paid by her handlers to cause disaffection within APC family.

The story started by referring to Gov Okorocha as a former Special Adviser to former President Obasanjo on Inter -Party Affairs, an office he held several years ago indicating that the authors do not know him well enough.

I wish at this point to remind the harbingers of libelous, concocted and devious news on social media that there is now a law on social media as the liberty enjoyed casting aspersions on people has ended.

The Group ‘Anonymous’ declares war on Islamic State after Paris attacks: ‘We will hunt you down’

Hacker group Anonymous have declared war against ISIS after the attacks in Paris on Friday night.
Posting a video on YouTube, the group said it would use its knowledge to “unite humanity” and warned the terrorists to “expect us”.
Behind their signature mask, a spokesperson said: “Anonymous from all over the world will hunt you down.

“You should know that we will find you and we will not let you go. “We will launch the biggest operation ever against you. “Expect massive cyber attacks. War is declared. Get prepared.

“The French people are stronger than you and will come out of this atrocity even stronger.”

It isn’t the first time the hackers have made threats against ISIS as they made similar threats after the Charlie Hebdo attacks in January.
The ‘hacktivists’ run an operation publishing a list of Twitter accounts it claims are spreading propaganda in support of ISIS.

Nigerian Prophet Tb Joshua Claims To Have Prophesied The Paris Attack

Atiku Abubakar on Friday, November 14, settled two chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), who had been fighting a cold war for some time now.

The former vice president settled the national leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu and the Senate President Bukola Saraki during his daughters’ wedding ceremony.

The Cable reported that the duo have been strange bed fellows immediately after the party emerged victorious in the last general election that ushered in the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Their differences began after Saraki defied the leadership of the APC in his pursuit to lead the senate. Not until yesterday have they been on speaking terms and the last time they were seen together in public was during the build up to the general election.

The Senate president was quoted to have said:

“Most Nigerians are aware that there has been no meeting or communication between me and Asiwaju Tinubu since I was elected Senate President.”

However, being guests of the ex-vice president, Saraki and Tinubu had no option other than to sit close to each other at the wedding ceremony of Atiku’s three daughters in Yola on Friday.

It was also reported that the speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, who like Saraki also declined to execute the directives of the party in naming the principle officers of the green chambers, was also at the ceremony.

It is said that prior to now, Tinubu did not give Saraki the opportunity to settle their differences whenever such presented itself. It was reported that the national leader last month ruled out any form of reconciliation with the two-time senator.

Tinubu in a statement was quoted to have said:

“The manner by which Saraki captured his current seat travestied party discipline. It was a crass act of disloyalty showing that Saraki may have joined the APC on paper but has remained true to the malpractices and wrong aims of the reactionary PDP in his soul.”

The national leader also lambasted the Senate president when he was attempting to elude trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) over false declaration of assets, saying:

“Government officials are no longer believed by the citizens. When one has a public responsibility, the citizens look at it as if the source of wealth to steal and mismanage public funds and do things not included in the democratic norms and values.”

Tinubu after the Eid prayers in September told newsmen that: “

It is not what I haven’t personally experienced. I have been through it. Go through it at once and have a nation that we will all be proud of. We have to live by example and by our words. We can be talking about it alone. We have to work it without any iota of blackmail.”

Saraki for his own part had continued to insist that his trial is nothing but a witch-hunt.

The Senate president in his speech on his first day at the CCT said:

“I strongly believe that I am here because I am the senate president. I have come here to subject myself before this tribunal not because I am guilty … I am a firm believer of the rule of law.”

One cannot ascertain if the verbal war between the two leaders will be halted following this weekend’s function but all fingers are crossed as we look forward to a better relationship between them.

Meanwhile, Atiku recently expressed satisfaction with the verdict of the Taraba governorship election tribunal that was announced in Abuja on Saturday, November 7, which ushered in Aisha Alhassan of the APC.

This Is Serious! Chinese Universities Install Free Condom Machines For Students (Photos)

Would like this to be introduced in Nigerian Universities? lol…Automatic contraceptive dispensers have been installed throughout university campuses in Zhejiang Province, China. Students are able to get contraceptives for free from the machines using their resident ID card.

Controversy has surrounded the dispensers amongst students, parents, universities and the health department.

The dispensers have been in service since March and have been placed in areas where students most frequently visit. The students can easily get condoms, contraceptive suppositories and gels by swiping ID cards but minors have no access to it because the new type of smart condom machine is able to recognize and access information in the ID card.

The Health and Family Planning Commission of Zhejiang Province revealed that 10 universities had brought these machines and it expected that each university will be equipped with one in the next year.

How Doctor’s Negligence Made Me Impotent – Man Petitions Osun Governor (Photo)

THIRTY nine-year-old Sodiq Momoh is not a happy man. The father of five is upset for two reasons. First, he is unable to urinate through his male s*x organ like a normal male, rather, he is only able to pass water with the aid of a catheter (rubber tube) that he carries around.

Second, and perhaps more agonising for Sodiq is his inability to initiate or sustain an Attention.
“I used to be quite virile, but now, my male s*x organ is lifeless and unable to function. As a result, I cannot engage in sexual intercourse. What is really paining me is that my wife is also not happy and is even threatening to leave me because I can no longer satisfy her sexually,” he disclosed to Saturday Vanguard in an interview.

A butcher by profession, Sodiq, who hails from Oyo, in Oyo State, is blaming his woes on complications he suffered as a result of what he described as a medical doctor’s misconduct and professional negligence.
Appendectomy.

Recounting his travails, Sodiq said it all began around February this year shortly after he approached the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Teaching Hospital, Ogbomosho, in Oyo State, with a complaint of an inflamed appendix.

Following diagnosis of appendicitis, he recalled how he was promptly booked for an appendectomy (surgical removal of the appendix) at the hospital and how the procedure was successfully carried out. In his narration, Sodiq related how he got more than he bargained for shortly after the surgical procedure.

“My appendix was removed without incident, the operation was successfully completed at about 6.30pm, and around 11pm that same night, I was already up and moving around. Shortly aftewards, the doctor (name withheld) who carried out the appendectomy approached me for payment.

“I was surprised because I had already settled my bills at the pay point of the hospital before the procedure, but the doctor insisted I had to give him ‘something’, so I asked if I would get a receipt. He answered in the negative and, in turn, I refused to give in and an argument ensued.”

Abandoned catheter
Sodiq noted that for several hours after he was taken to the ward to recuperate, the catheter that was affixed to his private part to aid passage of urine post surgery was yet to be removed.
“From information I gathered, the catheter ought to have been removed within 24-48 hours of the operation, but when I was in pains in my private part, I called the doctor’s attention to the development, but I was shocked when he told me point blank that I would only be attended to when I was ready to accede to his request.
“His unwillingness to attend to me resulted to the catheter remaining in my body for as long as 144 hours. It was only after my private part had become swollen, bleeding and fluid coming out that the catheter was removed. Now, I urinate with great discomfort. I am always feeling a peppery sensation in my urethra, worse still, I am unable to have an Attention. These were not complications of the surgery, but consequences of negligence.

Sodiq told Saturday Vanguard that he immediately took up the matter officially with authorities of the hospital, but several complaints yielded nothing as the response was not encouraging because all effort to compel those in charge to take responsibility and make amends for the misdemeanour amounted to nought.
Petition.

Left with no other option, Sadiq consulted his solicitors who petitioned the hospital authorities . Copies of the petition, addressed to the Chief Medical Director, LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Ogbomosho, were sent to the institution’s Director of Administration, Chairman Medical Advisory Committee and President, Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria, MDCAN, Oyo State branch in Ibadan, as well as the President of the Association’s national body in Abuja.

In the letter, Sodiq’s lawyers pointed out the hospital’s responsibility to normalize his urethral stream and also to foot the cost of medical treatment that would regularise the damage.

The letter, dated 24 June, 2015, was also copied to the office of the Oyo State Commissioner of Health and office of the Oyo State Governor, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, demanding full investigation and appropriate sanctions meted out to those found culpable and indicating readiness of the aggrieved party to go to court to seek legal redress should the hospital fail to heed the request. However, none of those copied had so far responded and when Saturday Vanguard phoned the office of the Director of Administration, LAUTECH, there was no response.

No corrective surgery
Sodiq said he was told that if he really wanted to have an operation to correct the problem, he would have to pay from his own pocket. “Even after I made it clear that the doctor in question had admitted fault, an official advised me to forget the matter because, as he claimed, the hospital was not receiving subvention from the state government and was under instruction by the Governor to generate funds internally to run its own services.”

“I tried to seek the cooperation of all concerned at a roundtable, but to avail. I was informed that the hospital had nothing to answer for, but that is unacceptable to me. When I was told that there was no waiver to be offered me in this respect, I got really angry.
 
“I was angry because I have been short-changed. The doctor had earlier admitted fault and said he was ready to facilitate corrective surgery, but has been avoiding me.”
Marital strain
“I am 39, married with five children, but since this incident happened, it has caused a strain between me and my wife. I can neither urinate nor have sexual intercourse. My wife is complaining that I am not satisfying her sexually and she is threatening to leave me.

My children are aged between 13 and a half and two years old. I wish to have more children if God wills it, and even if I cannot have more children, should I not be complete as a man? Should not have a completely healthy body as God created me?

“I am a sportsman. Before this problem, I used to be very active and played games such as table tennis as recreation. I used to jog every morning, but since the incident, I can hardly walk for 15-20 minutes without resting. I did not go to the hospital with these disabilities, so I am totally disillusioned and challenging the doctor and hospital to come out and talk about this matter.

Ruined business
As a butcher, Sodiq lamented his plight. “Now I beg to survive, I beg to feed my family. As a butcher, I know how much I used to make on the average weekly. My business has been completely paralysed since February because I am just at home unable to function normally. My health is now suboptimal. I just want the hospital do the right thing.”

When he consulted another health institution, he was given a huge bill for the corrective treatment. “ I went to Skyline Hospital, Ibadan, where I was examined by an urologist after which I was told that I would need to make a deposit of N190,000 before the corrective surgery. I went to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, and it was a similar story.

“Where am I going to get that kind of money? I paid a lot of money for the appendectomy, but I am not demanding a refund. I have lost confidence in the hospital. I am ready to go elsewhere. What I am demanding is to be compensated.”

Controversial former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, has claimed that she did not use her position in Goodluck Jonathan’s government to steal Nigeria’s money.

Diezani, who looked frail told Dele Momodu that she performed her duties to the best of her knowledge and abilities, and that many of the allegations against her are not based on facts.

But she was arrested by officials of the National Crime Agency in UK over “money laundering”.
The former minister had been alleged to have used her position as minister to steal billions of naira from the country’s coffers. In June 2008, she was subject to a Senate probe after it emerged that as Transport Minister she had paid N30.9bn ($263m) to contractors between December 26 and 31, 2007.

However, she has never been tried for these allegations and has strongly denied any wrongdoing. She was alleged to have spent billions of dollars on private jets and responsible for some missing $20bn.
She is also widely accused of reckless spending of government funds.

In October 2009, the Senate indicted her and recommended prosecution for the alleged transfer of N1.2bn into the private account of a toll company without due process and in breach of concession agreement.
She is said to be worth billions of dollars.

Boss Goes Undercover To Monitor Workers, But Broke Down In Tears After Seeing THIS (VIDEO)

The hardworking nature of an employee of a company, identified only as Angela paid her off in a way that she least expected.

The Chief Executive of the company had gone undercover to monitor his staff members and was particularly struck by Angela’s dedication to duty.

Posing as a new hire, Joey listened and observed carefully as Angela explained customer service, how to work the floor, and all other aspects of the job to him.

Joey, whose real name is Mitchell Modell, the CEO of Modell’s sporting goods had disguised himself and Angela was lucky after all.

Through the duration of the supposed training video which was later shared on Youtube, Mitchell pretended to be a new employee in order to see what his staff members usually get up to in his company.

His heart was broken at the end of the training after he learnt that Angela is an impeccable employee who has struggled for most of her life and was even living in a homeless shelter with her three children.

Angela remained dedicated with a strong mindset that things would only get better as long as she remained focused.

Modell apparently broke down in tears as he listened to Angela’s story and at the end of it all, he decided to surprise her with a lifetime gift.

He offered her a huge sum of money which would be well over enough to get her off the homeless shelter and fend for some of her other needs.

Angela couldn’t help the tears as she kept screaming at the brink of collapse but not without expressing how grateful she is to her boss.
