FG planning To Ban And Block P0rn Sites – NSA

Dasuki revealed this at the closing ceremony of a three-day workshop on use of social media organized for Islamic preachers, Imams and youths in the state.

The NSA, who was represented by the Minister of Special Duties, Kabiru Turaki , said:

“Government is planning to ban and block websites that inculcate negative attitudes in our children but we need a law to support such
move.”

“Because without a law, people can go to court and claim infringement on their rights,” he
added.

The workshop, aimed at correcting anomalies in the use of social media, was organised by the
national body of Izalatil Bid’a Wa’iqamatis Sunna (JIBWIS).

The NSA also warned preachers to avoid making unguided utterances against leaders.

If Jonathan Loses, There Will Be Civil War - Niger Delta Militants

Niger Delta militants have announced that there will be consequences if President Jonathan fails to win the 2015 general elections.

Jonathan is from the Ijaw ethnic tribe, the only time someone from a minority tribe has governed the nation.

The militants revealed that if Jonathan is removed as president, it would mean a direct attack on the Ijaw nation.

They also threatened to unleash violence on the country and take back Niger Delta oil should Jonathan lose the election, saying
that a Jonathan victory is non-negotiable.

The militants were speaking yesterday in Government House, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital at a large meeting that was attended
by all the former militant leaders and their followers across the Niger Delta region.

In attendance were, Mujaheed Dokubo-Asari, leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force; Victor Ben Ebikabowei, aka,
Boy Loaf, and Government Ekpudomenowei, aka, Tompolo.

The special adviser to the president on Niger Delta affairs, and chairman of the Amnesty Implementation Committee, Kingsley Kuku, was also present with the Bayelsa state governor, Seriake Dickson, and his deputy, president general of the Ijaw Youth Council, Udengs Eradiri, among others.

Dokubo-Asari talked of the discrimination faced by Ijaws all over the country and said they can’t and won’t take it any longer.
”For every Goliath, God created a David. For every Pharoah, there is a Moses. “We are going to war. Everyone of you should go
and fortify yourself,’’ he said.
He told everyone at the meeting to be ready for battle ahead and declared that Mr.Jonathan would win re-election.

Dokubo-Asari also condemned the attack on Jonathan’s campaign in the north by hoodlums.

He maintained that the survival of the Ijaw nation rests in the hands of the militants gathered at the meeting.

Boyloaf also condemned the attack on Jonathan and said that nobody has the monopoly of violence.
He asserted that One Nigeria does not exist and the only reason Nigeria’s diverse nationalities are together is oil.

He said that if the North takes power away from Jonathan, the Niger Delta will take their oil away.
”Keep grudges and sentiments apart. We are ready to match them bumper to bumper,” Boyloaf said.
Governor Dickson thanked the militants for backing the re-election campaign of President Goodluck Jonathan as he faces the APC’s Muhammedu Buhari.

APC Accuses PDP Of Sponsoring Attacks To Postpone Polls

The All Progressive Congress (APC) has accused the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of being responsible for the attacks on President Goodluck Jonathan’s
convoy in Katsina and Bauchi states.

The accusation was contained in a
statement issued on Saturday by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, a copy obtained by the Nation.

The party said the attacks were engineered by the PDP to demonise the opposition and force the postponement of next month’s
general elections.

The APC alleged that the masterminds of the attacks were exposed through the coordinated hysterical reactions to it from
the presidency, Senate President David Mark and the leadership of the Ijaw nation.

The party said those who have gone into frenzy in condemning the attacks should direct their anger at the PDP, which hired the hoodlums who attacked the President in
Katsina and Bauchi and gave them brooms to make them look like APC supporters, adding that information is now in the public domain that these attacks were self-inflicted
with the aim of demonising the APC and instigating retaliatory attacks in the southern states, thus precipitating chaos which the PDP and the Presidency will then use as an excuse for the postponement of the elections.

Parents Of Girl Who Planned Her Own Kidnap Disown Her.

The parents of the Mass
Communications undergraduate of the
Delta State University, Abraka, Belynda
Chinwe Bosa, who planned her own
kidnap with her boyfriend to obtain a
ransom of of N10 million from them, has
disowned her, saying she has always
been a bad child who has repeatedly
brought pains and sorrow to them.
The girl and her boyfriend, George Itietie,
who were arrested in Port Harcourt after
they had received the sum of N500,000
from the distraught family, are currently
being detained by Delta Police
Command, despite her regrets, will also
have to contend with her parents’ anger
and abandonment.
The petrified parents who became
distraught when it was revealed to them
that their beloved daughter was actually
behind the kidnap, promptly disowned
her for putting them through hell.
Bosa, a 300 level student, had told
police officers in her confession that she
did what she did out of love and her
desire to marry Itietie but now, it seems
all her plans for her future has hit the
rocks as her parents have vowed never
to have anything to do with her including
her educational pursuit or the man she
was so smitten with love, meaning that
they will not support any marriage plans
between them.
They implored the police to treat her and
Itietie as criminals.
Bosa, crying profusely when her parents
visited the police station, said:
“I regret getting involved in this crime.
Please forgive me, daddy and mummy!
I’m sorry for the stress I made you go
through!
George and I love each other. We
decided to get married but had no
money to plan the wedding.
I decided to offer myself to be kidnapped
by George so that we could extort money
from my parents for the wedding. If I’m
given the chance, I’ll still marry George.
But we didn’t envisage that it would go
this way. I can’t just explain what came
over me.
I don’t know why I embarked on this
shameful act.
I’ve embarrassed my parents and soiled
my family name for the sake of love. Can
somebody please help me beg them to
forgive me?“
But her parents would have none of her
tears and pleas, saying she was only
shedding crocodile tears.
On his part, Itietie did not believe that
any plans for marriage between them
would work anymore.
“Even if Belynda’s parents allow me to
marry her, will they be able to obliterate
the stigma from their hearts?“
